The task team consists of a number of SME owners/leaders and representatives of support organizations such as Business Partners. These members provide valuable input from the perspective of members in the SME sector, guiding and enhancing the Chamber's service offering to this sector.
The task team's purpose is to:
- Seek interventions for SME growth.
- Support networking and plan evaluation meetings.
- To strengthen and support participation of funding institutions.
The task team developed its strategic model; advised on the Chamber's networking events; assisted in seeking finance for the SME help desk; and made input on the SME capacity-building programme to be introduced with funding from Alcan.
