The SME Development task team brings together small business owners and SME service providers to discuss the challenges facing small businesses and their development needs.
The purpose of the task team is:
-To provide a platform for SME's to advise both the chamber and service providers of the needs and challenges of SME's.
-To advise the chamber and service providers on the relevance of programmes and services offered.
-To provide a coordinated approach amongst service providers, including PERCCI, in presenting services, trainings and events for SME's in the metro.
The task team meets quarterly and is an open forum where any interested person is welcome to attend. The core team is led by PERCCI Board member and business owner Gillian Roffe and Sicelo Kubashe of Coega Development Corporation.
