Do you want to pass on your business knowledge and experience?
A panel of Mentors with broad business management skills and experience is available to assist small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in identifying areas in their business which would benefit from mentorship in order to facilitate growth.
“Many SMME’s fail to meet their growth targets because they do not have the ability to secure sufficient working capital, particularly in a climate of rising costs. Another problem is the shortage of skilled labour” says Mike Smith, the initiator and driving force behind the programme. A Past President of PERCCI and retired Managing Partner of KPMG, Mike Smith notes that “much of this can be avoided by good planning and advice from someone who has walked this road. In the present South Africa, we do not have the luxury of allowing people to fail and thus learn their lessons the hard way. A mentorship project will tend to reduce the number of business failures and hence have a positive impact on the economy in this region."
If you are motivated to transfer knowledge and skills to mentees, then join PERCCI's Mentorship Programme where you will be assigned to a mentee who will grow his/her business through your guidance and expertise.
