Three dreams for the Reach for a Dream Foundation were realised at the once-off winter Ocean Racing Series race yesterday(Sunday 25th July 2010) where 249 entrants took part. According to organiser Michael Zoetmulder of Zports Event Management, the race included a 1km swim or 5km paddle for the brave, or a 5km beach run/walk and a 1km beach run for children u/12.

This initiative is aimed at increasing awareness by entrenching the fact that the Bay is South Africa's watersport capital. Business is encouraged to assist events like the Ocean Racing Series to ensure our city becomes recognised.

The Radisson Blu will hold a charity golf day in aid of Project Playground on August 31^st 2010. Corporations and suppliers are invited to participate as well as individual teams.
